NIH Pediatric GIST Clinic |

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has announced the initiation of a new series of clinics for patients with pediatric GIST (regardless of current age, those patients who were diagnosed when they were children or young adults are eligible). The first clinic was held June 19, 2008 in Bethesda, Maryland. The second clinic is scheduled for January 2009. The clinics will benefit patients as well as providing information to researchers. Many expenses will be paid (see announcement for details).
